Nestor Monsalve-Prieto of Harrisburg was charged with a Felony for Lure Child Into A Motor Vehicle on Thursday, Oct. 10, the police said and court documents confirmed.
The charge stems from an incident at Brisban and Kelso Streets in Paxtang Borough around 3:50 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, the Swatara Township Police detailed in the release.
Officers were called to a report of child luring and learned that a Hispanic man, they now believe was Monsalve-Prieto, attempted to get a 12-year-old girl into the silver sedan pictured above.
The girl got away but found a nearby adult to stay with her until he drove off, according to the release.
The car was found the following day.
The suspect was described as "average build, had short brown hair, facial scruff and was wearing a black tee shirt," as stated in the release.
His preliminary arraignment was held before Judge Michael J. Smith at 2:54 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, according to his court docket. He has been committed to the Dauphin County Prison on $250,000 bail, with a preliminary hearing set before the judge at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
